Westlake Plastics Europe is a European leader for the conversion of semi-finished plastics by extrusion and compression as well as their machining for bio-pharma equipment and medical devices. We offer a large stock of polymers that are compliant with USP VI and the ISO 10993 standard.

Our business is simple: we manufacture and sell semi-finished plastics (bar, plate, film) for the industry of biopharmaceutical equipment and medical devices. In addition, we offer the machining of these same polymers for the same industry, as a sub-contractor. Our business is as simple as that and we want the client experience to reflect the same simplicity. Moreover, we can support you in other high-tech industries such as aeronautics, defence or nuclear.

Notre spécialité, c’est la production d’implants et d’instruments orthopédiques pour la chirurgie de la hanche, genou, épaule, cheville, rachis, traumatologie mais nous adorons le challenge et la nouveauté. CONCRETE CASE
A manufacturer needs a transparent but coloured (for coding) shoulder instrument.
There is no standard material, we select the base resin.
We reproduce the colour based on the requirement.
A small “batch” of resin is produced. We then extrude it and machine the prototypes.
The client requests for adjustments.
We extrude a large quantity and machine the series.
The client has a single person of contact who manages all material development and machining.
This saves a lot of time and ensures full control for the client!

Providing medical, implantable or high-performance machined parts or materials, requires strict control procedures, quality system and organisation. Our organisation is ISO 13485-certified and registered with the FDA.
